Bush House Agricultural College

Bush House was a grammar school built in the grounds of a hundred acre estate once owned by Sir Thomas Meyrick. The school was opened in 1955 , and for thirty five years was the only school in the whole of Wales that had a farm. Bush House is now a residential home for older people. A local magazine article about the years in which Bush House was a school can be found here.  Please click here for a video about the College (circa late 1960s). The video is hosted by Showboat TV.
